Mandina lodge is powered by a Greenlink lease system. After very negative experiences with a solar system provided by a “leading” solar company in The Gambia, Mandina Lodge was stuck without energy, running generator to supply power to the lodge.
Greenlink Gambia reinstalled the energy system at Bwiam general hospital. Finally it works as it was intended by the manufacturer. The solar system was upgraded to the standards and expanded to 85 kWp.
For Ministry of Communication and Information (MOICI) with funding from the UNDP, Greenlink installed an off-grid Rural community information centre in Mansakonko.
Ngala lodge is reducing its carbon footprint with a first 20kW solar system. This system is part of the lease program that Greenlink operates in The Gambia.
The Disaster Recovery Site from the Central Bank is powered by a hybrid power supply from Greenlink. The system uses Solar, the grid backed-up by a battery bank and as a last resort a generator.
Bansang general hospital has been struggling with power outages for a long time. Power-up Gambia together with donor Peter Giller initiated a project to provide power to the Hospital. Greenlink designed a containerized solution for the batteries and inverters.
