Nimali’s Central Serengeti camp
🌞 Celebrating another successful installation for Nimali Africa in the Serengeti National Park! 🌞
We're thrilled to share the news that we have reached another achievement in our mission to power a sustainable future. With excitement, dedication and expertise, our team completed our latest solar energy project, delivering renewable power to Nimali Lodges.
This project for Nimali in Central Serengeti exemplifies the commitment they show to providing reliable, clean energy solutions with respect to nature and the Tanzania National Parks. Now running almost fully on solar through the powerful technology of our trusted suppliers: JA Solar panels (40kWp), a Victron Energy Quattro Inverter (30kVA, three-phase), a Fronius International Eco-27 AC-coupled inverter, and Freedom Won Pty Ltd Lithium-Ion Batteries (120kWh), we are helping our clients reduce their carbon footprint while providing their customers with reliable power for their needs.
In addition to a full solar setup at Nimali Central Serengeti's camp, we’ve installed heat pumps for water heating in all the rooms. These pumps are produced by Energie Portugal and capture heat from sun, wind, rain, surrounding air, offering an energy-saving rate of up to 85%, thus dramatically reducing the power need and environmental impact of the lodge. We will update you in a separate post about these high quality heat pumps!
We extend our gratitude to Nimali for entrusting us with this turnkey project. As we continue to make strides in the renewable energy sector, we remain steadfast in our commitment to delivering excellence. We look forward to more of these transformative projects, driving positive change.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to innovate, empower, and illuminate a brighter, greener future together!
Don’t forget to swipe through these pictures of our installation! All rights of the picture inside the tent and the landscape view with the Elephant go to Nimali of course 😉 And do you see those massive batteries in the pictures? They were a tight fit, but we managed to get them through the door. Let's hear it for our amazing technicians and Justus Maximilian Hense for managing the installation!
